About Allsound Security

Established in 1993, Allsound Security has been providing Armed response, Alarm and CCTV monitoring, Alarm and CCTV sales and maintenance and Guarding services to the greater Knysna area.

We are proud to say that we were Knysna’s original security service provider with currently 11 area dedicated response vehicles, a CCTV camera network covering Knysna and most importantly, a team of dedicated staff.

The directors are actively involved in every aspect of the business. Declan Nurse, the MD, steers the ship and is ably supported by founding director Andy Stunden. Andy’s son Jason heads up the technical department. Together they form a formidable force and strive to deliver Andy’s original mission of Keeping Knysna Safe.

The company and staff – management, response officers, guards, control room operators and technical staff are all registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and have received extensive training for the position they hold, ensuring service delivery of the highest standards.

We are the only company in Knysna that has response vehicles stationed in and around Knysna. These vehicles have fully trained response officers to effectively and efficiently handle any emergency situation. The security officers respond immediately to all alarm and panic signals received and both the guards and response officers are in radio contact with the control room at all times. In addition, we have 4 technical teams doing installations and repairs daily.

Our technical staff is available at short notice around the clock and are capable of handling any technical problems that may arise. Allsound Security works very closely with the neighbourhood watches in the Knysna area; we have a fantastic working relationship with them and are able to assist them with any complaints or concerns that may arise, significantly decreasing the crime in these areas. We also have an agreement with the Knysna SAPS that allows us to alert them in case of any security breach, getting a response from them within minutes.
